Hours of Operation and Admission Cost:
Cars depart at least every half hour from 10 am, Monday-Friday and from 8 am on weekends and during holiday periods. Last car up is at 8 pm with the last car down at 9:45 pm.
Adults: $22.25
Children (3-12): $15.25
Seniors (60+): $20.25
Children under 3 years old are free but require a boarding pass.
There is also a Ride ‘N Dine option which includes dinner at Pines Café. After 3pm the cost of Tram admission and dinner is $35.50 for Adults and Seniors and $23 for children (3-12). Dinner is served from 4:30 pm. Reservations are not required.
Top 5 Attractions at the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway
1. Hike the 54 miles of trails within the Mount San Jacinto State Park and Wilderness. You can be adventurous and try the five and one-half mile trek to the 10,834 foot peak of San Jacinto or try the easier but still picturesque just over one mile nature walk through Long Valley, located just behind the Tram's Mountain Station.
2. Camp out with friends and family in one of four designated campgrounds.
3. Ski with your own equipment or rent from the tramway personnel. Or just play in the snow!
4. Take a guided nature walk for no charge to learn more about the animals and natural environment.
5. Try snowshoeing! Rental equipment is available.
